The Adamawa State Police Command has began investigations to unravel organisers of a beach party which was scheduled to hold in Yola.
According to the State Police spokesperson, DSP Suleiman Nguroje, the state Police Commissioner had ordered investigation into the event which did not hold owing mainly to public outcry and warning by the police.
Nguroje revealed that anyone found involved in the planning of the party will be arrested and possibly prosecuted.
In his words,
“The Commissioner of Police has ordered investigation to unravel the sponsors and venue of the said beach party. The command will not allow any immoral activity that could cause public outrage.
“Anyone found involved will be arrested and possibly prosecuted.”
This is coming after the Kaduna State Police Command arrested organisers of the maiden edition of a “Kaduna sex party”, which was slated to hold in the northern state.
The party which was widely promoted on social media, was slated to hold on December 27th, 2020 in an undisclosed location in the state.
According to the invite which went viral, the party guests are expected to be naked as clothes would not be allowed at the venue.
The party which was scheduled to hold last Sunday was called off, as organisers of the party were arrested before the D-day.
Media aide to the Kaduna State governor, Abdallah Yunus Abdallah confirmed the arrest and revealed that the phone number used for the publicity was what was used in tracking the organisers.
