Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has allegedly received the Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
According to reports, the politician took his first dose of the vaccine in Dubai to prevent the emergence of COVID-19 symptoms in his body.
Atiku is said to be the first Nigerian to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
According to Personal Assistant on New Media to President Buhari, Bashir Ahmed, Nigeria is set to receive its first batch of the vaccine at the end of this month.

Nigeria is expected to get its first batch of COVID-19 (Pfizer-BioNTech) vaccines by the end of this month as part of its plan to inoculate 40% of the population this year and a further 30% next year, Dr Faisal Shuaib, head of the national primary healthcare agency has disclosed.

The Pfizer’s vaccine was found to be 95 percent effect at making one asymptomatic of COVID-19, after taking its full two-dose regimen.
