Donald Trump has left the White House for the final time as the President of the United States of America on Wednesday.
Speaking during his farewell speech, Trump thanked his family and staff for their total support during him and his administration.
“It is my greatest honour and privilege to have been your president.
“I wish the new administration great luck and great success. I think they’ll have great success; they have the foundation to do something really spectacular.
“I promise to be back in some form. This has been an incredible four years.
”We were not a regular administration. Also, I offer my respects and love to people who suffered from COVID-19.
“Remember us and have a good life, we will see you soon,” he said.
The outgoing President is expected to take a flight on Air Force One from the base in Maryland to Florida, where he will spend the final hour of his presidency.
