Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has joined Nigerians in mourning the death of a former Minister of Information, Tony Momoh.

DAILY POST reported that Momoh died on Monday, February 1, 2021.

The Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC was the former Minister of Information and Culture (1986–1990) during the military regime of General Ibrahim Babangida.

Reacting to his death, Sani described the deceased as an unapologetic nationalist who believed in his party and the government he helped to install.

He also prayed that his soul rest in peace adding that he will be dearly missed.

“Prince Tony Momoh was an incurable and unapologetic nationalist.

“He was so optimistic and believed in his party and the Government he helped to install by once declaring that “stone us if we fail”.

“He will not be stoned. He will be missed. A great loss. May his soul Rest In Peace,” he said.
