Former Abia State PDP Chairman, Senator Emma Nwaka, has applauded the state Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu’s for the ongoing infrastructural renewal in Aba.
Senator Nwaka in a statement released to DAILY POST on Friday noted that Aba will have a new look when the projects are completed.
“What is going on in Aba is impressive. His Excellency has done a great job marketing Made-in-Aba products to a wider audience.
“Traders have started returning to Aba from as far as Sokoto and West African countries.
“Also, these recent achievements will further boost profit for the business community and increase the state’s internal revenue,” he said.
Nwaka also commended Governor Ikpeazu over the decision to relocate the abattoir from the waterside to the city’s outskirts.
According to him, the move will enhance environmental hygiene as well as air quality for residents.
“I also appreciate the Governor’s pledge to complete the Abia State Government House, which the previous administration started.
“Continuity is important in governance for rapid development. Also, these projects will make the people of Abia proud,” he added.
