Health Minister Zweli Mkhize says measures have been put in place to ensure COVID-19 regulations adherence at the royal palace. But that is not the case in the streets of KwaNongoma, as hundreds of Amabutho fetch the King’s remains. The Amabutho have brought the streets to a standstill.
“Everyone here, from the royal house to the government, everyone is trying their best to manage the situation,” Mkhize said. The king will be laid to rest in the early hours of Thursday.
