A woman from Shenton Park in Mt Hampden speaks on how she vomited a live frog last week after falling ill for two years whereupon she heard it croaking inside her stomach.
They killed the frog by sprinkling it with coarse salt.
Angeline Boloma Muzemba (36) from Chief Chiswiti’s village in Mt Darwin, Zimbabwe says she used to be ill and would hear the frog croaking in her stomach until last week she felt sick and vomited the big frog in the middle of the night.
“The problem started when I was with my husband at our rural home, I had severe stomach cramps and heard it creaking in my stomach. At other times I would feel movement in my stomach like I am pregnant. It would go up and down and sometimes choked me.
“That is when I began vomiting, it came out and began moving in the vomit.,” Mrs Muzemba said.
The woman used to be told she was losing blood which caused her to lose weight.
“When I vomited this frog, we kept it overnight and invited a prophetess who used to pray for me and help me with the problem. She came and poured salt and water on the frog and it died instantly,” she says.
When she consulted a spiritual healer, she was told the frog was a goblin which used to eat at her flesh and drink her blood and a relative is responsible.
“When I vomited this frog, I felt like I was about to give birth although I wasn’t pregnant. The problem is, even though I am receiving spiritual help, I still need mone to visit the hospital so I can get a blood transfusion and get checked by a medical doctor.”
