Nigerian writer and founder of Genevieve magazine, Betty Irabor has taken to social media to motivate her fans and followers to aspire to be game changers and never give up.
Using herself as an example, the Nigerian columnist revealed that at the time she started her magazine many people tried to discourage her by pointing out that several Nigerian magazines before hers failed.
According to Betty amid several discouragement she resolved to be a game changer in the field. Betty stated that she refused to allow discouraging words stop her from trying and keeping at it even when things became tough.
Taking to Twitter, she tweeted,
“When I launched Genevieve in 2003, I was constantly reminded of d fatality rate & statistics of failed magazines. It unnerved me much but I became more determined to be 1 of d few that survived. See ehn, It doesn’t matter how many have failed b4 u. U may just be d game changer.”
