
…Harps on Inter – Agency Collaboration, Training and Re- Training
The General Officer Commanding, (GOC), 81 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Lawrence Fejokwu, commends the Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ayeni PK for his hard works in ensuring the security and safety of lives and property in Lagos State.
The GOC stated this during his courtesy visit to the NSCDC Lagos Command at Alausa, Ikeja. He applaud Ayeni PK for his resilience in the fight against oil pipeline vandalism amidst others and charged him to remain courageous and strong against all forms of economic sabotage that may also lead to loss of lives and property, in the state.

Major General Lawrence Fejokwu promised to support and assist the command in the area of training and re-training of its officers and men. He believes that this will as well aid in fostering inter-agency collaboration and synergy between the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Lagos State.

The Commandant, CC Ayeni PK, in his response, expressed his unspeakable joy and gratitude for having the rare opportunity and privilege to host the highly distinguished General Officer Commanding, 81 Division Nigerian Army. He said that his strong points and requests will include synergy, joint training and retraining of officers and men of the command alongside with the Army. He also eulogized and appreciated the Nigerian Army, for its past impacts and roles towards the growth and development of the corps generally.
While seeking for the support of the GOC in fulfilling the statutory mandates and functions of the corps, he assured his avowed commitment to remain dedicated towards the safety of lives and property and protection of critical national assets belonging to the Federal, State and Local governments amongst others in the state.

In the same vein, the Commandant, CC Ayeni PK also proceeded to the office of the Regional Coordinator National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Mrs. Olufunmilola Opesanwo on an operational visit. The Commandant pledged his support to the NIMC boss in order to strengthen the cordial ties between the two organisations in Lagos State.
The Regional Coordinator of NIMC in Lagos, Mrs. Olufunmilola Opesanwo, appreciated the Commandant for his visit and requested for his continuous support and collaboration in order to aid the seamless control of crowd and smooth operations at the NIMC Head Office in Lagos.
