Nigerian celebrities such as Wunmi Toriola and Daddy Freeze have taken to Instagram to express their feelings about Obi Cubana’s mother’s burial in Anambra state, which has become the talk of the town.
The funeral rites has become a trend on social media platforms because of the expensive and extravagant manner in which it is being celebrated.
According to reports, the businessman received over 300 cows and spent over N88 million on drinks for his mother’s funeral.
However, some Nigerian celebrities poured out their reactions on social media. See below:
@Wunmi Toriola wrote: “I dey Anambra we dey suzuuuuuuuuuuu for here… This kind party na to pack all your gold for body”
@sunkanmi_omobolanle wrote: “And una talk say money nor Dey 9nja money Dey bet Na you nor get .. leave story”
@Daddy Freeze wrote: ”I don’t know what the issue is with @obi_cubana ‘s 200 cows, when the supposed wisest man that ever lived, Solomon, consumed 30 cows and 100 sheep DAILY! As in EVERY SINGLE DAY. That’s 210 cows and 700 sheep every single week.
”If he can afford it, why not? Personally, I don’t get where all these plenty issues are arising from.
“If for 40 whole years (Solomon was king for 40years), there was a literal party every day in Solomon’s palace and he was still considered ‘wise’, why are we now questioning the wisdom of our brother, who chose to have fun with his friends and family for just a few days?
Hustle o, so another man’s cows no go turn beef for you, #Bars

New Living Translation [22] The daily food requirements for Solomon’s palace were 150 bushels of choice flour and 300 bushels of mealh; [23] also 10 oxen from the fattening pens, 20 pasture-fed cattle, 100 sheep or goats, as well as deer, gazelles, roe deer, and choice poultry.
“Let’s celebrate with those who celebrate.”
