As the action for the semi-finals of the 2nd edition of Governors Cup for all Public Primary Schools in Ogun State resumes on the 28th of July, 2021, Kiraa TV is proudly supporting the soccer event.
The soccer fiesta organised by the Department of Academy and School Services, State Universal Basic Education (SUBEB) is proudly supported by Kiraa TV amongst others.
Similarly, the final of the soccer event has been slated to hold on Thursday July 29th, 2021 at the MKO Abiola international stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta.
The Maiden edition of the soccer event won by team Obafemi Owode in 2020 is aimed at discovering talents, motivating, inspiring and promoting sports in Primary Schools in the State.
Team Ifo slugged it out with her counterpart from Ijebu North-East in the match of the Semi Finals to determine the finalist, while Team Ado Odo played Team Ikenne in the second semifinals match. Team Ifo and Team Ado Odo will lock horns in the final match on 29th July, 2021 at MKO ABiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta.
However, expected to grace the occasion are Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun and his wife. Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon Oludare Kehinde; Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Abayomi Arigbadu and others.
