When a UK couple was named as parents on their twins’ birth certificates, they made history. This as they were the first same-s.e.x couple to appear on the official documents.
The couple had twins after using an egg donor and surrogate in 1999, making headlines as the country’s first gay dads.
The Mirror reported that 11 years ago, the couple decided on having more kids and went through surrogacy again. They had another set of twins.
The millionaire couple made their fortune through a surrogacy business. But after getting married as soon as they were legally allowed in 2014, they split up in 2019.
One of them announced he had fallen for a younger man, the ex-boyfriend of one of his daughters.
The dad of six said: “Lots of people think it’s weird that I would be dating my daughter’s ex.”
