Buhari leaves for New York
President Muhammadu Buhari has left the country for New York.
The President left on Sunday to attend the United Nations General Assembly.
Buhari is scheduled to speak to world leaders during the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA76) in New York.
The UNGA session opened on Tuesday, September 14.
Apart from the UN meeting, the President will also hold some high-level meetings and interactions while in the United States.
Those that embarked on the trip with Buhari include; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; Attorney General and Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami (SAN); and Minister of State for Environment, Sharon Ikeazor.
Others are the National Security Adviser, Maj-Gen. Babagana Monguno (retd); Director-General, National Intelligence Agency, Amb. Ahmed Rufai Abubakar; Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa and the Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs, Mrs Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire.
