Labour Party Guber Aspirant in Anambra, Obiorah Agbasimalo, has said he would make Nnewi, the home for equipment manufacturing for the entertainment industry, noting that the the city is the Japan of Africa.
Agbasimalo stated this on Saturday, 25th September, 2021 at the Nnewi Mega Rally which held at St. Andrew’s D.C.C Nkwor, Nnewi Round About, Anambra state.
“Most of the Equipment for the entertainment industry shall be manufactured in major companies in Nnewi for the proposed film village because Nnewi is the Japan of Africa” he said.
Some Nollywood actors that turned up to support Obiora Agbasimelo were Chika Okpala a k.a Zebrudaya, Chiwetalu Agu, John Okafor a.k.a Mr. Ibu, Destiny Etiko, Chinedu Ikedieze, Fred Bright, Abuja Comedian amongst others.
The multi-millionaire technocrat cum philanthropist, Obiora Agbasimalo, President, Oga Ndi Oga Solidarity Movement vowed to liberates his people from poverty and empower them. To this end, Oga Ndi Oga through his foundation has unveiled multi-million naira revolving interest free loan for traders, artisans, small and medium scale business owners.

Obiora Agbasimelo has built Community roads, awarded educational and vocational skills scholarships. He has also taken care of medical bills for so many Nigerians with critical healthy issues, as well as initiating several poverty alleviation programmes to address the plight of widows and families.
