Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele-Bello recently shared a video of herself riding on a bike popularly called Okada in Nigeria’s commercial city, Lagos state.
According to the mum-of-two, she had to hop on a bike because of how serious the traffic on her route was. She stated that she couldn’t allow the traffic hold her down so she ditched her cars and hopped on a bike.
Funke Akindele, who is the executive producer of blockbuster movie ‘Omo Ghetto’ which literally means ‘Child of the slum’, noted that she took bike because she is an ‘omo ghetto’.
She shared the video on her Instagram page and wrote,
“🙈🙈🙈 I quickly hopped on a bike!!! #notrafficwillholdmedown
As per #omoghetto concern!!”
The video has stirred hilarious reactions on social media as netizens pointed out that regardless of your social status and wealth, the traffic in Lagos state will humble you.
