Transporting an aeroplane cannot be an easy task, which is just what a truck driver recently discovered.
The driver was transporting an Airbus A320 in India.
One Mile at a Time reports that the A320, formerly owned by Air India, was loaded onto a truck and transported from Indira Gandhi International Airport near the city of New Delhi.
It was being driven along the Delhi-Gurugram highway when it hit the underside of a pedestrian bridge, and got stuck.
According to Carscoops, a Delhi airport official confirmed that it was a scrapped plane.
“The aircraft certainly does not belong to Delhi airport’s fleet and in the video, it is being transported without any wings. It appears to be a scrapped plane and the driver may have made a judgment of error while transporting it,” the official said.
