Alaafin of Oyo’s estranged wife, Adeyemi Olaitan, popularly known as Queen Ola, has stated that she has a story to tell about men who glorify suffering.
The former wife of the monarch and mother three, said this while reacting to a post by gender equality activist, Solomon Buchi.
Buchi in a recent Facebook post urged women to marry men who doesn’t glorify suffering in the name of virtue.
“Marry a man that won’t want to make you suffer. I mean, a man who doesn’t glorify suffering in the name of virtue; a man who loves comfort and ease; a man who’s open to outsourcing. Again, marry a man who understands you’re not a donkey(even donkeys deserve rest and ease)”, his post reads.
Taking to her Insta-stories, Queen Ola shared a screenshot of Buchi’s post and noted that she would tell her story someday.
“Humm, one day I will tell my story”, she wrote.
