According to the report making rounds on multiple sources on the internet, the incident took place in Ibadan, Oyo state capital on Friday, December 3, 2021.

The reports add that the man allegedly dropped a certain amount of money on the ground which the children were said to have picked and consequently”turned into two tubers of yam.”
While being interrogated, the man told TVC News in an exclusive interview that he does not believe human beings can be turned into a yam.
