Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, on Thursday, insisted that justice must be done to the gruesome murder of five-year-old Hanifa Abubakar Abba, who was kidnapped and subsequently murdered by her teacher.
Ganduje, who made this known during the State Executive Council meeting, held at Africa House, Government House, Kano, said, “The state will do everything humanly possible to ensure the speedy dispensation of justice in this case. We also applaud security agents for tracking down the culprit.”
“We will do our best to ensure the compliance of due process, within the shortest possible time. I am also assuring all that the culprit will get the desired judgment for the heinous act.”
“Our schools will continue to be assessed and make sure that they are on the right track. We want to secure our schools and our children,” he assured.
Ganduje also assured that the state government would continue to do its best toward the security of the state.
