The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party Monday approved the nomination of the Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri and six others to serve on the Electoral Committee for the Osun Ward Congresses to elect three-person Ad-Hoc Ward Delegates to the Special State Congress.
The Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, disclosed this in a statement he signed on Monday titled ‘PDP sets up Osun State ward congresses electoral committee.’
The statement read in part, “The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has approved the nomination of the following party members to serve on the Electoral Committee for the Osun Ward Congresses for the purpose of electing 3-man Ad-Hoc ward delegates to the special State Congress.”
The members of the Committee include Ahmadu Fintiri as Chairman, Okwesilieze Nwodo, Ahmed Maccido, Nze Fidelis, Yandev Amabai, Mrs Nellie Ikpi, and Abiye Sekibo as Secretary.
The exercise is scheduled to hold from Wednesday, February 23, 2022, to Thursday, February 24, 2022, in all the 332 wards of Osun State.
