The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party Monday constituted the Local Government Area Congresses Appeal Committee to consider appeals arising from the conduct of the local government area congresses in Anambra State.
The appeals committee would be chaired by former Kaduna State Governor, Ahmed Makarfi.
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, disclosed this in a statement he signed late Monday, titled ‘PDP sets up Anambra local government congress appeal panel’.
According to Ologunagba, “The National Working Committee of our great Party, the Peoples Democratic Party, has constituted the Local Government Area Congresses Appeal Committee to consider appeals arising from the conduct of the local government area congresses in Anambra State.”
Other members of the committee include Dr Esther Uduehi, Danladi Sunday, Paul Abu, Mike Ahumibe, Fatima Saleh and Umar El-Gash as Secretary.
The exercise will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
