Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Uriel Oputa has tackled relationship coach Blessing Okoro for her post urging women to always collect transport fares from men on dates.
Blessing had taken to her Instagram page to make a controversial statement advising ladies to drop any man who can’t afford to pay their transport fares.
According to Blessing, it is a man’s responsibility to give a woman transport fare after taking her on date or visit.
She stated that it shows some level of protection, security, responsibility and ability.
She noted how it doesn’t cost anything as it is the smallest thing any man can give you.
To her, when a man gives you tfare he is only trying to make sure you have gotten home.
Blessing warned any lady dating a man that can’t give her tfares to flee from him as she considers such men ‘boys’.
Her post didn’t sit well with many and she received several backlashes for it.
One of the backlash she received was from reality star, Uriel Oputa.
Uriel Oputa revealed how her mother taught her not to depend on men financially.
She stated that she was raised to never order for something that she can’t afford, always carry money with her, always keep decorum, to spoil herself and avoid been manipulated by his money and lastly to take things slow since it’s a first date.
