As the Russia-Ukraine war intensifies, the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, on Wednesday, has accused Russia of wanting to “erase” Ukrainians and their history, AFP reports.
Speaking in a video address, Zelensky said Russia’s missile strike on a target a Holocaust massacre site was an indication that many people in Russia did not know the history of the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv.
“For many people in Russia, our Kyiv is completely foreign.
“They know nothing about our capital; about our history. But they have an order to erase our history, erase our country, erase us all,” he said.
