“We’ve just had an update from the Home Office on the number of Ukrainian refugees who have been granted British visas.
“As of 3pm on Sunday, a total of 4,000 visas have been issued under the Ukraine Family Scheme,” the report says.
The Ukraine Family Scheme is a visa route that allows those fleeing the war in Ukraine to join family members in the UK.
Sky News reports that a total of 32,200 applications have been opened by the Home Office, while 10,600 Ukrainian refugees have made appointments at visa application sites.
The UK has a number of visa processing centres across Europe, including in Poland, according to Sky News.
