Movie stars, Mercy Aigbe, Shaffy Bello, Muna Abii, Benedicta Gafah and Gideon Okeke, on Sunday, March 20, 2022, attended the premiere of the movie, Obsession, at the Blue Pictures Cinema, Ikeja, Lagos.
Written by Adelarin Awotedu from a story by Sammie Jennie Oma and directed by Emmanuel Nwosu, aka Director Mo, the movie follows a couple, John and Ashley, whose marital issues got worse when they have a new neighbor called Chloe. Ashley tries to make friends with Chloe, unknown to her that the latter has been seeing a psychologist for body dysmorphia.
Speaking at the premiere, Nwosu stated that it cost N45m to produce the movie, and features actors from Nigeria and Ghana. He said, “The production of this movie cost N45m, and it features stars from Nigeria and Ghana.”
