Old students of Baptist High School, Ejigbo, Osun State, have unveiled 16 projects executed in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the school.
Speaking during the annual general meeting of the association, the outgoing national president, Baptist High School, Ejigbo old students association, Mr Sola Ajiboye, said the projects had been completed and would be handed to the management of the school.
Ajiboye, who listed the projects to include; renovation of staff quarters, classrooms, science laboratories amongst others, said they were executed to mark the 60th anniversary of the school.
He commended the old students for given back to their alma mater, saying such a gesture would assist in making learning environment more conducive for both the teachers and students.
He said, “We also renovated home economics laboratories, we converted an abandoned buildings to NYSC quarters, and we provided water for the school. In all, we executed 16 projects to commemorate our founder’s day.”
“We commend members for their cooperation and support. We also urge those that will use the projects to put them to good use.”
