Caleb University has perfected plans to organise a career exposition for students in Nigerian secondary schools.
The initiative is designed to stimulate and develop the Intellectual capacity of the participants.
The university is partnering with financial institutions and De Millers Farms to reward the best performing students in the capacity-building contest.
This was contained in a statement by the Information, Media and Publication Specialist for Caleb University, Olawale Adekoya, made available to The PUNCH on Monday.
The statement titled, ‘Caleb University Presents Career Expo 2022’, partly read, “Themed ‘Stand Out’, the career-oriented initiative designed to stimulate and develop the intellectual capacity of Nigerian secondary school students is scheduled for Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 10:00am to 12:45pm at the Multipurpose Hall of Caleb University Imota, Lagos.
“The NIDP is strategically designed to engage 2,000 SS2 and SS3 students from 100 Secondary Schools drawn from the six Geopolitical Zones of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
Announcing prizes, the statement added, “The winners of the inaugural edition of the competition will smile home with the star prize of N1m cash, while the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th placed schools will receive 250K, 200K and 150K, respectively.”
