Award-winning Tanzanian singer, Naseeb Abdul Juma, popularly known as Diamond Platnumz, has revealed why he loved and admired Nigerian artistes.
The singer, who has featured alongside top Nigerian music stars, noted that the country’s artistes were very hardworking and persistent in their pursuit of success.
Diamond Platnumz made this known while speaking with media personality, Adesope Olajide, in the Afrobeats Podcast published on Monday.
Speaking about Nigerians, Diamond Platnumz said, “I love Nigerians because they have this spirit that they’re not getting enough of what they have. They don’t get tired.
“They’re always pushing. No matter how far they go, they feel like they’re not there yet.
“The artistes from Nigeria do as if they’re just upcoming artistes in how they push their things and I love that.”
According to him, his love for Nigerians inspired him to shoot five of his new music videos in the country.
The singer recently trended when it was revealed that he featured Nollywood veteran, Jide Kosoko, in his yet-to-be-released video.
In the interview, the Tanzanian singer noted that his forthcoming Extended Play had 10 songs and he shot five of the videos in Nigeria.
Diamond Platnumz has collaborated with top Nigerian stars including Davido, Waje, Flavour, Iyanya, etc.
