The Lagos State Government through the Health Facility Monitoring and Accreditation Agency has advised residents to desist from patronising uncertified health facilities in the state.
HEFAMAA, in a tweet on Tuesday, urged residents to look out for its logos which should be displayed publicly by certified health facilities.
The tweet read, “The next time you go to a health facility in Lagos State, kindly look out for any of @HEFAMAA_LASG logos displayed in a position where the public can easily see them.
“We should be cautious and desist from patronising facilities without the logo and certificate of registration.”
The logos shared by HEFAMAA shows that the agency is responsible for certifying the hospitals, nursing homes, maternity centres, specialised diagnostic centres, specialist hospitals, optical clinics, dental clinics, diagnostic centres and others.
