Alhaji Shehu Kura, who was nominated for the position of Kano State Commissioner for Finance by Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, on Thursday, resigned his appointment with the State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
According to a statement by the state Commissioner for Information, Muhammad Garba, Kura was appointed commissioner following the request of Shekarau shortly after the 2019 elections.
Also, the commissioner explained that until the recent defection of his boss, Kura was a member of the All Progressives Congress and had previously served as Commissioner of Planning and Budget.
