The Redeemed Christian Church of God, United Kingdom, has felicitated Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, on her platinum jubilee.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the RCCG, United Kingdom, Pastor Leke Sanusi.
The statement, titled: ‘Statement by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) United Kingdom on the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee’, partly read, “The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in the United Kingdom commends and celebrates Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II on the occasion of her historic and unprecedented Platinum Jubilee.
“The Queen’s selfless service to the nation, the Commonwealth and countries across the world for 70 years is a chronicle of exceptional grace and a remarkable record of pioneering achievements.
We thank God for His faithfulness and enduring mercies towards The Queen, as we rejoice with her, the Royal Family, the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.”
The church prayed for grace, virtue and favour to be bestowed on the Queen, while commending her faith in Jesus and inspiration to many.
“Our prayer is for more of God’s grace, virtue and favour to be bestowed on Her Majesty, as the nation joyfully commemorates seven decades of anointed leadership.
“The Queen’s enduring faith in the Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ continues to inspire many, as we witness her deep devotion to duty and a life lived sacrificially before us.
“God save The Queen!”
