Speaking while distributing the cars at the council secretariat, the council chair said the gesture was to assist the District Heads with vehicles to enhance their activities toward promoting peaceful coexistence in their domain.

Francis charged the traditional rulers to continue to discharge their responsibility in their various districts to ensure cohesiveness and mutual coexistence toward building the peace and development that has eroded.
He expressed gratitude to God that the historic event was happening during his administration while assuring other district heads that are yet to benefit to patiently wait for theirs, that more cars are expected.
The District Head of Madakiya, His Highness, David Kantiok, who spoke on behalf of the District Heads commended the Council Chair for his magnanimity and assure him of their continuous total support.
