PSG’s Kylian Mbappe is the most valuable forward in the world and also the most valuable forward under 25, although in the list of the leading 10 strikers under the age of 25, he is the only one currently plying his trade in France’s Ligue 1.
According to the latest updates on the Transfermarkt website, French striker Mbappe is ranked as the most valuable forward under 25.
The 23-year-old has a market value of €160m, while Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, the only African on the list of the top 10 forwards under-25, is the 10th most valuable striker in the world.
Osimhen joined Napoli from Lille in the summer of 2020 for a club-record fee of €81m plus adds on. Following a season marred with injuries and health-related issues, the striker was in fine form for both the Italian side and his country.
Osimhen recorded 18 goals and six assists for Partonopei and also scored five goals in two games for the Super Eagles in the opening AFCON qualifying group stage games. Four of those goals came in an impressive performance against a lacklustre Sao Tome side as Super Eagles mauled them 10-0 in Morocco.
According to Transfermarkt, the Napoli forward is valued at €65m.
This valuation means the 23-year-old is ranked above Barcelona’s Ansu Fati, Real Madrid’s Rodrygo Goes and Juventus’ Federico Chiesa.
Erling Haaland (21), Vinicius Junior (21), Dusan Vlahovic (22), and Christopher Nkunku (24) complete the top five with valuations of €150m, €100m, €85m, and €80m respectively.
