They were Faruq Jobe who contested in the governorship primary; Mustapha Kanti, who contested in the Daura Senatorial primary; and Kabir Shu’aibu Charanchi, who contested in the Katsina Central Senatorial zone primary.
Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir contested in the Malumfashi/Kafur Federal Constituency primary.
All the four aides had earlier been cleared by the state House of Assembly and were sworn in inside the cabinet office on Wednesday.
The four had not been assigned any portfolio.
Governor Masari welcomed the four aides back to the cabinet after they had sworn the oath of allegiance.
He reminded them that when one contests in an election, it is either they win or lose, adding that whatever happens, life must go on.
“I welcome you back,” he declared in his brief remarks.
The PUNCH recalls that the four aides along with other political office holders in the state had in April, resigned their appointments to contest in the APC party primaries for various elective posts.
