The LGAs comprise of Giwa, Birnin Gwari, lgabi, Kaduna North, Kaduna South, Chikun and Kajuru in Kaduna Central Senatorial District.
Represented by one of his associates, who is also a former Director-General on Media and Publicity to ex-Governor Mukhtar Ramallan Yero, Alhaji Ahmed Mayaki, said the gesture was to encourage farmers across the zone ahead of this year’s farming season.
Sani-Abdullahi, immediate past Commissioner Budget and Planning Commission, called on the Committee set up for the distribution of the commodity to ensure that only deserving local farmers benefit from the gesture.
The senatorial candidate also urged the good people of the Kaduna Central and indeed the entire state to continue to support the All Progressive Congress as the party was working assiduously towards reconciling and uniting party members ahead of the forthcoming 2023 elections.
“The gesture is to encourage our local farmers across our Constituency to enhance food production and food security and ultimately reduce poverty among our people in line with the manifesto of our great party.
“We must ensure that only genuine local farmers are given the fertilizer while also mobilizing eligible voters to get their PVC in our constituency and beyond in order to unite and support our great party ahead of next year’s general elections at all levels,” he said.
Also speaking, the Secretary of the APC in the state, Alhaji Yahaya Babapate, commended the candidate for the gesture and urged other contestants in the various positions across the state to emulate the candidate.
Among the APC faithful who attended the event were the party’s Zonal Chairman and Woman Leader, other candidates of the party for the State and National Assembly across the Senatorial district. ENDS…
