Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has made new appointments.
The governor on Thursday approved the appointed Dr. Adam K. Mohammed as the Director-General for the newly established Yobe State Information Technology Development Agency, (YITDA).
Secretary to the State government, Baba Malam Wali, in a statement indicated that Dr. Mohammed’s appointment is predicated on his records of performance and commitment to the development of the State.
“It is, therefore, hoped that you will strive hard to justify the confidence reposed in you by this appointment”, he said.
Until his appointment, Dr. Adam K Mohammed was a Senior Special Assistant to Governor Buni on Information Technology (ICT).
Governor Buni also approved the appointments of Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Special Advisers as well as Permanent members.
The new appointees include Yusuf Ali, Senior Special Assistant on Digital and Strategic Communication, Laraba Aji Mala, Senior Special Assistant, John Jonga, Senior Special Assistant, Musale Mohammed Chiromari, Senior Special Assistant, Babagana Mala, Senior Special Assistant on Security, Ibrahim Chana, Senior Special Assistant, Kagu Lawan, Special Assistant on Security, Usman Mohammed Special Assistant on Security Special Assistant, Mohammed Dakasku, Special Adviser on Inter-Governmental Affairs, Ibrahim Ali Gadaka and former Commissioner of Education as Permanent Member of Yobe State Teaching Service Board.
Shuaibu Abdullahi, Press Secretary to SSG in a statement noted that all appointments take immediate effect.
