This comes after Datti Ahmed, an economist and politician, was unveiled as the running mate of Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi today, July 8.
Apparently, the lady identified as Chidubem Ukamaka Onyejemuo, had taken to Facebook in July 2020 to state that the duo would be a good fit for presidency in the 2023 general elections.
She shared a picture of Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed with the caption, “This should be our President & Vice President come 2023…. If to say we get sense…”
Following the ticket announcement, Chidubem took to Facebook to point out that she had earlier predicted the Obi-Ahmed ticket.
The post quickly gained traction on the platform as netizens trooped to the comment section to call her a prophet.
However, some people claimed she edited it after the official announcement was made.
In response to the critics, Chidubem explained the thought process behind pairing the duo back in 2020.
She wrote,
“Nigerians are a very funny set of people…
During the PDP primaries of 2019, only one man stood out…. That man was Datti Ahmed….
I knew PDP won’t be able to beat Buhari so I just though that in 2023… PDP would pick Obi because power should come South and Datti to represent the North.
PDP did not and both men decided to pick each other.”
