Police officers of the Eagle-Net patrol team in Delta State, while on stop-and-search duty along the Sapele-Warri expressway have arrested two suspected armed robbers with a gun found in their possession.
Sunday PUNCH gathered that the suspects, 20-year-old Joshua Stephen, and 21-year-old Wisdom Obano, were arrested on Friday.
The Police Public Relations Officer for the State Command, DSP Bright Edafe, disclosed in a statement that the operatives intercepted an Audi Saloon car with Reg. no. QA 480 UGH, carrying the two suspects who looked suspicious.

In another incident, the police have recovered a Lexus SUV reportedly snatched from the owner along Ughelli-Warri Road, also in Delta State.
