A member of the Federal House of Representatives, Mr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has donated 20 motorcycles to the Ondo State Security Network Agency, also known as Amotekun, as part of his contribution to help the state tackle insecurity.
The federal lawmaker representing the Akoko North-East/North-West Federal Constituency of the state said he was committed to joining hands with the state government to end insecurity in the state.
The Chairman, House Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission, donated the motorcycles on Tuesday through Mrs. Yinka Tunji-Ojo in Oke Agbe town, the headquarters of the Akoko North-West Local Government Area of the state.
According to him, the move was also to complement the efforts of the state government in boosting the security architecture of the state.
He said, “We will not rest until we create a structure which can effectively and proactively combat the nefarious activities of criminals across the 18 local government areas of the state”
Tunji-Ojo, who had earlier donated four vehicles to the officials of the Nigeria Police Force, said he would continue to do more to ensure the safety of his constituents and neighbouring communities.
