Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo, is in talks with Galatasaray over a possible move to the Turkish club, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
Etebo who spent last season on loan at Watford in the Premier League last season has been deemed surplus to requirement by his parent club Stoke City this season.
The English Championship club is looking to offload Etebo before the end of the transfer window who has 12 months left on his deal at the club.
“Etebo is in talks with Galatasaray,” one of Etebo’s intermediaries told PUNCH Sports Extra.
“He has one year left on his deal and the window is still ongoing so we are considering other options to get him back playing for the new season.”
The Nigerian has not played for Potters since October 2019 spending time on loan at Getafe, Galatasaray and Watford in the Premier League last season.
The 26-year-old was missing in action as the Potters lost 2-0 to Millwall in their opening English Championship game last Saturday at the Den stadium.
The midfielder who is currently valued at €3m, according to football statistics website, Transfermarkt has been capped 44 times by Nigeria and has scored three goals.
