The All Progressives Congress vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima was in Katsina on Saturday and left on Sunday on what he called “social visit”.
Shettima arrived Katsina on Saturday evening and departed few minutes to 11am on Sunday morning.
He declined press interviews from journalists at the Presidential lodge complex on Sunday morning where he passed the night.
” I am here ( Katsina ) on social visit and not for politics”, he told newsmen who approached him for interviews at the lodge shortly before he left.
Governor Aminu Masari and the APC Governorship candidate in the 2023 elections,Dikko Radda saw him off at the lodge on Sunday morning .
Party sources revealed that the APC Vice Presidential candidate had shortly on arrival on Saturday, met some stakeholders in the party including the immediate past Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Inuwa Muhammed .
