The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, on Monday, called on wealthy individuals in the society to join hands in the healthcare sector of the country.
This is as he paid tribute to the individuals who are building hospitals to address the health challenges of the poor in the society
The monarch made the call in a press statement by the Emirate Council Chief Press Secretary, Abubakar Na’isa.
The Emir made the call while inspecting the new private hospital built by private individuals, located in the Kano metropolis.
The Kano monarch hailed the efforts of the individual, who built the hospital toward helping the people of Kano state and the entire country in tackle their health challenges.
Also, he expressed confidence that the health sector will contribute to the healthy development of the community.
In his speech, the president of the hospital, Dr. Muhammad Garba, said he established the hospital to address the health challenges of the community, especially the vulnerable.
