The family of a two-year-old boy, Ramadan Mayeleeke, who has been diagnosed with three holes in his heart, are seeking financial help to the tune of N5,875,000 for him to undergo a chest infection surgery to save his life.

According to the report, the minor was being managed as a case of secundum ASD, right partial anomalous pulmonary venous connection, small VSD and moderation PAH by the Paediatric team.
He was presented on account of recurrent chest infections noticed from birth and had been on anti-failure medications.

Some of the procedures which the two-year-old would undergo at the hospital include preoperative evaluation, cardiac catheterisation and VSD closure, all amounting to N5,875,000.00.
Ramadan’s mother, Tolani, said she had been facing endless difficulties since she gave birth to him, adding that her son had been due for surgery since last November.
While appealing for financial help to pay for the surgery, the distraught mother said, “I’m pleading with everyone to help me. I don’t want to lose my son. Please, help me. My baby finds it hard to breathe; he is always in pain due to the multiple holes in his heart. He is in discomfort,” she said.
