The Abia State gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Prof Greg Ibe, has stated that his political opponents are intimidated by his large followership.
Ibe stated this at Sam Mbakwe Airport on arrival from outside the country, adding, “Other politicians have been jittery because we have come to build that thing that they have refused to do.
“We have arrived and we should be expecting something like this (large turn out of faithful) in Abia very soon.
Commissioning his campaign offices in Aba and Umuahia, he said, “APGA is the only party in Abia state that held successful primary.
“We are heading to Aba and Umuahia to make a statement. We are set for action. This is our project”
According to him, “We are going to declare our campaign offices open and from now onwards, until we take over the Government House, it is non-stop.
“Abia people should know that the crop of politicians that have arisen is set to take over power in Abia State, to bring development to the doorstep of everybody.
While I was away, we were able to attend to the health needs of our people. Without health, there is nothing you can achieve in life.
Also speaking, the party’s senatorial candidate for Abia South, Sen. Enyi Abaribe, who arrived with him said, “By seeing the two of us, fear and confusion have conquered them. This is our project”.
Earlier in his speech, the party state chairman, Rev. Augustine Ehiemere, said the party is united in the state and that there is no crisis within the party.
