GIG Logistics said it has expanded its operations to China to provide its customers with more e-commerce options.
In a statement, it said logistics is the core of successful supply chain management and one of the fastest growing sectors in Africa today.
“As the e-commerce market continues to boom in Nigeria and online shopping gradually becomes the new normal, logistics remains essential to ensuring items bought from online stores across the world are delivered fast and smoothly to customers’ doorstep in Nigeria,” it stated.
With China being the newest addition to GIGL’s global Delivery network spanning 230 countries and territories, customers could now shop from Chinese websites and suppliers, the statement said.
It said, “Customers can also make payments in naira, and ship with ease to their doorstep in Nigeria within five- seven days, all from the comfort of their homes or offices.
“In a bid to help their customers shop and ship with ease, GIGL also introduced KIM, your personal shopper, available on Whatsapp and Wechat.
“KIM can help make payments, assist in tracking shipment, create a shipping bill, send shipping invoice among other things. Customers can also ship from China to Nigeria with the GIGGo app.”
