The remains of Kehinde Afolabi, the twin brother of the Managing Director of Sifax Group, a conglomerate that deals in maritime, hospitality, aviation, oil and gas, Taiwo Afolabi, were laid to rest with family and friends in attendance. He reportedly died in his sleep on September 17, 2022, some months after he and his brother celebrated their sixtieth birthday.
The funeral rites began on Thursday, September 29, 2022 with a service of songs and a night of tributes, held at the Divine Emporium Event Centre, Isheri, Lagos.
The late Afolabi was described by his family members, friends, and associates as a gentleman, tolerant and hardworking. He was also described as a benevolent individual with an angelic character.
On Friday, September 30, 2022, his body was interred at the Ebony Vault, Ikoyi, Lagos.
