The Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Kukah, will be leading a set of speakers, including a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Prof Kingsley Moghalu; media entrepreneur, Kadaria Ahmed; and spokesman for Northern Elders Forum, Dr Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, at ‘The Fela Debates’.
The topic for this year’s edition is, ‘Election 2023, Action Time’, and it will be moderated by media personality, Edmund Obilo.
The symposium series titled, ‘The Fela Debates’, was first held in 2009 as part of Felabration, an event in honour of the late Afrobeat singer, Fela Kuti.

Now in its 14th edition, the event has grown over the years to bring the much anticipated and traditional curtain raiser to the Felabration festive week.
