The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has congratulated a top member of the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council, Tajudeen Olusi, on his 86th birthday.
Tinubu, in a statement on Thursday by his media office signed by Mr Tunde Rahman, commended Olusi’s leadership guidance.
He said, “Today, I congratulate elder statesman and eminent leader in Lagos State and Nigeria, Prince Tajudeen Olusi, on his 86th birthday.
“He has contributed immensely to the development of Lagos in all spheres of life including political, economic and traditional. As a member of the Governance Advisory Council, his interventions have proved helpful in guiding Lagos to her present enviable height. His role within the traditional hierarchy in Lagos as a top prince is equally remarkable.”
Similarly, the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Gboyega Akosile, described Olusi as a respected leader who has contributed immensely to the development and growth of the state and the country.
Sanwo-Olu said, “On behalf of my adorable wife, Ibijoke, the good people and government of Lagos State, and entire members of our party, the All Progressives Congress, I rejoice with our father and eminent leader, Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, on his 86th birthday.
“Prince Tajudeen Olusi is a true democrat and one of the trusted members of the progressive camp, who has been playing active roles in party politics and governance in Nigeria for several decades.”
