A football club, Jobby International Movement, on Sunday said it is hunting for underprivileged kids across Ogun State to join the club in participating in the 2022 Ogun community junior league.
The proprietor of the football club, Ezekiel Fayoyin, said young persons between the ages of 10 and 12 are the target of the club for the competition scheduled to hold before the end of the year.
Fayoyin, in a statement made available to The PUNCH, said the club is on the lookout for special and talented underprivileged kids that can become potential stars in the future.
He noted that the club plans to discover underprivileged kids and support them in achieving their dreams.
The club proprietor said his team has begun hunting for “undiscovered and talented kids wherever they are in Ogun State, especially within the state capital.”
He stressed that the team of the football club for the Ogun community junior league will consist of underprivileged kids discovered during the talent hunt.
He noted, “we are trying to achieve is to touch lives of young ones; discover their talents and build them to become something great.
“We are trying to touch lives, especially the young ones and youths. We are not just doing it in sports, we will look into other aspects. We will touch every aspect, and ensure that our youths are engaged.
“We are going to have IT training centres across the state. We are trying to create a future for them, especially in our country where there is no hope, we are trying to give them a home.
“We are ready to give them our support by making sure they utilise their talents. We also seek support.”
