The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has advised local Airlines to patronize African based hangars to promote friendly business relations.
The monarch gave the advice on Friday in Morocco when he took time off to visit the Aircraft Hangar at the coastal city of Mohammedia to inspect the five Aircrafts acquired by RANO AIR, owned by the Kano-based business mogul, Alhaji Auwalu Rano.

The visit to the Aircraft hangar was in continuation of his visit to the Kingdom of Morocco where he attend the 13th Edition of the Horses Festival.
According to the statement, the five Aircrafts – Embraer 145 are all undergoing routine and final technical checks preparatory to their departure to Nigeria to commence domestic operations.
The Emir expressed happiness to see the aircrafts being beautifully branded and he also spared time to board one of the aircrafts and take a seat in the cockpit.
In a brief meeting with the Technical Team undertaking the maintenance works, the monarch expressed great delight with what he saw as another positive development in African aviation industry as more destinations will be covered.
He congratulated the owner and prayed for the success of the new airline which will have its hub in Kano.
He expressed delight at seeing aircrafts from Air Peace and United Nigeria, all undergoing routine maintenance checks at the Moroccan based hanger.
